Early Warning Signs | Call for Applications

Artist Ellie Harrison is pleased to announce the launch of the new Early Warning Signs website, together with the call for applications for four host venues to adopt the signs in 2014.

The new website features information and images from all the previous host venues over the last three years, which include: Eastside Projects GallerySpace Station Sixty-FiveTravelling Gallery and City Art CentreSite GalleryDundee Contemporary ArtsCCA GlasgowThe Hidden Gardens at Tramway,   and the Converse/Dazed Emerging Artists Award in London and Beacon Art Project. Perhaps you have seen one on your travels?

Now it’s your turn to adopt a sign!

•    Are you part of an arts organisation or gallery that would like to be seen to be actively acknowledging climate change?

•    Would you like to help create awareness / discussion about climate change in your local area?

•    Then, why not take responsibility for one of the four signs by committing to display it in an outdoor public location at / near your venue during 2014.

Unlike adopting a human child, the application process for adopting a sign is very simple and should no take more than 5 minutes.
