An event by London Museums Group and Hackney Museum

Monday 29th February

 Venue – Terrace Gallery, Museum of London

This event will explore how processes of organisational change can help museums to embed active community engagement and participatory ways of working into the core of their work, even at challenging times.

Hackney Museum was one of the seven museums and galleries to take part in the Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Our Museum (2012-2015) national initiative, and we are partnering with them on this event to discuss the experiences and findings of the programme.

The programme grew out of ‘Whose Cake is it Anyway?’, a report by Bernadette Lynch who will join us as a speaker at this event.
