Share Academy is a partnership between University College London (UCL), University of the Arts London (UAL) and the London Museums Group (LMG). Share Academy has spent the past four years scoping the potential for partnership working between universities and museums in the London region and developing methodologies for sharing intelligence on collaborative practice.
Share Academy has been commissioned by the Museum University Partnership Initiative (MUPI) to do a piece of research exploring and mapping out the relationships that exist between universities and museums in England and drawing together existing knowledge on effective university/museum partnerships. The research will consist of a number of key elements including a literature review, survey of current activity, co-facilitation at a stakeholder event and summary of key findings in a written report.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related subject and knowledge of collaborative practice. The candidate will also have experience of using mixed methods frameworks to critically appraise data and inductive qualitative approaches to understand emerging themes.
